Today is the 10th day of our 12 days of Christmas countdown. The year is 1947, the year of the end of WWII, and below is a clip from the Christmas edition of The Quiver that year. Highlighting a special candlelight Christmas service, this clip also features a photo of the newspaper’s staff that year and their “many hours spent on a special Quiver.” Members of the staff from left to right are listed as Roland Opsahl, Bob Roddy, Bud Dixon, Janice Anderson, Carol Larsen, Jeanne Youngquist, Jeanne Herold, Mary Lee Johnson and not pictured, Viola Wiens.
